December 14th, 2020 he was met with a reply from none other then Oprah Winfrey:

“I’m relaunching @oprahmagazine’s website in 2021. How about you come shoot one of our stories”

Shortly after, Oprah tweeted:

“He said YES! We’ll be in touch”

Malcolm Manning is the epitome of making social media work for you! Only having tweeted that he is a photographer looking for work he was able to secure a client with one of the world’s most influential Black woman: Oprah Winfrey.

Oprah Winfrey has a history of being generous and extending a helping hand with her supporters all across America. Whether it being as small as buying a supporter a new laptop to life changing events like hiring a Black photographer from an urban society.

The opportunities are endless for the aspiring photographer as his work speaks for itself.

With only having less then 2,000 followers his tweet reached 924 likes and about 9.2 thousand retweets alluding to the fact that amazing work will always speak for itself.

More and more we see social media being leveraged and used as a tool to further promote business, build clientele and build a network.
